You're Looking At Country

Before I begin the blog, I just want you to know that I have changed the comment screen and anyone can leave a comment so please feel free to do so. That is if anyone is reading this.

You certainly can't tell but that set of hair belongs to me. Since I have in Korea I have appeared on the cover of two magazines and have done a spread for a third. This is K Scene which is a popular magazine for foreigners. It's even appeared on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno (Not this copy, of course). Sadly I am unable to get this picture any bigger. I'm still a newbie at all this.

That's right! That's me holding a golf club. I know I don't do sports and this magaizine may tarnish my image but you do what you gotta do for your 15 minutes of fame. This a very unpopular magizine but the quality is surprisingly good. The government puts this magazine out so they don't really care about the distribution. As a result it is only found in airports and the occasional tourist office. Lindsay wrote a couple of articles for the magazine and the Koreans all agreed that she's beautiful and asked her and a friend to appear on the cover. I'm really happy that she chose me!

It looks like I don't have eyes, but I do. I hope you have a great day and enjoyed the Korean magazines I sent you. Weren't they fun? I'm sorry that I didn't send you a real gift but I'm in Korea and I wouldn't have a clue what you would want from here. But, if you want a gift then you'll have to come over and get it. I know Korea is not on your list of things to do but it sure is different. Have a great day!!!

Whispering Sea

I thought it was time for another selection of random photos. The following photos are from three different days but they were all good days, spent with good people. Since being here I feel like I have met some fantastic people. I have a posse!!! The first three pictures are of nights out on the town. The last two are of Buddah's birthday celebration. It was an amazing sight to see all of the events.

As for other news in Korea. Believe it or not but I'm currently working on my sixth month. I'm almost half way there. I'll be home before you know it! Before I know it! I am working on a trip to Beijing in August and planning slinging some mud at the Mud Festival. Jealous? I didn't think so. Also, some big news - I got a bike. Only for the summer but I'm loving it. I won't want to give it back but I'm going to enjoy it until I do. I've been zipping around my part of town and causing traffic jams and accidents as I go along but I don't care because I can't understand what they're yelling at me.
